We look forward to seeing you.

Justin and I would just like to share with you some of the slight differences you will experience in the restaurant as part of our risk assessment and with the aim of keeping all of us secure.

On arrival, you will be met at the door. asked to sanitise your hands and then taken to your table. Sadly, the snug cannot be used at the moment as an aperitif area so it is instead a private dining area which is ideal for those who are still shielding.  If the weather is fine, you may like to enjoy a snifter in the garden; all soft furnishings will be treated with fabric anti viral spray between seatings.

We will not be able to hang your coats for you for the time being.

The tables look fairly bare at the moment but once you are seated, we will bring you a single use menu with your hors d’oeuvres.

You do not need to wear masks whilst you are seated, but if you wish to visit the cloakroom during your visit, please do wear a mask.

There are hand sanitisers situated at both doors, in the restaurant and outside the washrooms for you to sanitise prior to going in.

Staff have been asked to wear masks at all times but not gloves as our policy is for us to wash our hands after EVERY touch contact in the restaurant. Rest assured that our high standards of hygiene remain our priority. Cutlery is soaked in disinfectant and hot water, then put through the industrial dishwashing machine before being polished in a mix of boiling water and vinegar. All glassware is put through the industrial glass washer twice. Staff wear cotton gloves to polish cutlery and glassware. All gloves, aprons and chefs’ whites are washed at 6o degrees after service on the premises.

We have a supply of extras that you may wish to request from staff, these include salt and pepper, plastic cutlery, face masks and toilet seat covers

As a note, we take our responsibility to yourselves and fellow diners very seriously so please inform us of any possible Covid symptoms or confirmed infection within 14 days of dining with us; this will allow us to track and trace and “whack a mole!”

Your safety is our priority.

Stay safe and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Reeves.

Claire and Justin
